Starting in early 2002, I became a contributor to the PSU Vanguard, an award-winning, independent student newspaper for Portland State University. When I first began, I primarily wrote for their International column and then later branched into their Science and Technology section. By the summer of that year, I became the editor of their main News column and oversaw pitching and production of pieces.
In 2022, I was awarded the Wilma Morrison Award for Outstanding Journalism for my particular contribution of the OreSat piece. Below you'll find that and other samples of my journalistic work.
